Privacy Policy
Voixie Live turns speech into live text and translation. This policy explains what happens to your audio and text, and what your account stores. The short version: we don't record your audio, we don't keep your transcripts, and neither does our speech provider. Your account holds only your email, your plan and how much listening time you have used.
Microphone audio
When you tap Start listening, the app streams microphone audio over an encrypted connection (TLS) directly to our speech recognition provider, Soniox, which returns the text and translation in real time. Audio does not pass through Voixie servers and is not recorded by the app.
Soniox does not store real-time audio or transcripts and never uses them to train its models; its logs contain no audio or transcript content. Soniox is SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. Details: Soniox security and privacy.
Transcripts
Transcripts and translations are kept only on your device: in the app's session history (and, on the web, in your browser's storage) until you delete them, delete the app or delete your account. We don't upload or store them on our servers. When you copy, share or save a transcript, it goes only where you send it.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address and password. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud). We store your email address, the sign-in method, an account identifier, and — for Apple and Google — the identifier those services give us. Passwords are stored by Firebase as salted hashes; we never see them. If you choose Apple's “Hide My Email”, we only receive the relay address Apple creates.
To confirm an email address or reset a password, we send you an email through our mail provider, Resend. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes.
Plan and usage
Your plan (Free, Plus, Pro or Business), any Day or Week Pass, and your listening time belong to your account, so they are the same on every device. For each listening session we store when it started, the plan's time limit, the platform (iOS, Android or web) and how many seconds of audio were processed. We use this only to apply your plan's limits and to prevent abuse. No audio or text is part of these records.
The free 30 minutes
A Free account includes 30 minutes of listening once per phone, not every day (spoken translation uses this time four times as fast). So that it is given once per phone rather than once per account, the app sends a one-way hash (SHA-256) of the device's identifier — the Android ID on Android, the identifier for vendor on iPhone, a random ID kept in the browser on the web. Only this hash leaves the device. Our server hashes it again and keeps that hash permanently, together with the account that received the free time. On the web, where the browser's ID can be cleared, the server also keeps a hash of the network address the request comes from (the IPv4 address, or the first half of an IPv6 address); it is used for 30 days only. We don't store the identifier or the address themselves, and we use these hashes only for the free time. If you delete your account, the link to it is removed, but the hash stays, so the free time is not given to that phone again.
App information
When it loads your account, the app also sends its version and build, the update it is running, its interface language, your phone's language and region setting, its time zone, and a random identifier created when the app was installed (not a hardware identifier). For each session we also store the language codes you chose (for example English → Turkish) — never what was said. If our hosting provider tells us the country of a request, we store that country code; we don't guess it from your language, email or name. We use this to support you and to see which versions and languages are in use.
Notifications
Notifications are off until you turn them on in Account. Then the app sends our server a push token (the address Apple or Google gives the app on your device) with your interface language and time zone, so we can send occasional news and tips — at most once a day and not at night. They are delivered through Expo's push service and Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging. We record whether a notification was delivered and whether you opened it. Turning notifications off in the app, signing out or deleting your account detaches the token from your account.
Trying without an account
On a phone that has never had an account, you can try Voixie Live for a few minutes a day without signing up. The app then uses an anonymous Firebase account: an account identifier with no email address or name, holding only the trial's usage records described above. If you create an account afterwards, the same identifier becomes your account, so the trial's sessions stay in your history.
So that the trial is used once a day per device and per network, the app sends a one-way hash (SHA-256) of the device's identifier — the Android ID on Android, the identifier for vendor on iPhone, a random ID kept in the browser on the web — and our server stores it, together with a hash of the request's IP address, each combined with the date. We don't store the identifier or the IP address themselves, we use these hashes only to limit the free trial, and they are deleted automatically within three days.
Information our server handles
To start a session, the app asks our server (hosted on Google Cloud / Firebase) for a short-lived session key. The request carries your sign-in token so the server can check your plan. To prevent abuse, the server also looks at the request's IP address to limit how many sessions can start per hour; this is kept in memory only (the trial without an account is limited as described above). Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and time) for security and reliability.
Stored on your device
Your settings — languages, theme, text size and expected terms — are saved on your device so the app remembers them. You can clear them by deleting the app or your browser's site data.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the web: open Account and tap Delete account. This permanently removes your sign-in, email address, plan details and usage history. The device hash for the free time and the record that a store purchase was applied stay, with no link to you, so neither is given twice. You can also email us from your account's address. Deleting the account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in the store. More: how to delete your account.
What we don't do
- We don't collect your contacts, and we only ask for an email address to create your account.
- No advertising, no ad tracking and no selling of data.
- No location, camera or photo access.
Recording other people
You are responsible for using Voixie Live lawfully. Some places and organisations require you to tell participants, or get their consent, before their speech is transcribed.
Children
Voixie Live is not directed at children under 13.

Mikrofon sesi
Dinlemeye başla'ya dokunduğunuzda uygulama mikrofon sesini şifreli bir bağlantıyla (TLS) doğrudan konuşma tanıma sağlayıcımız Soniox'a aktarır; Soniox metni ve çeviriyi gerçek zamanlı döndürür. Ses Voixie sunucularından geçmez ve uygulama tarafından kaydedilmez.

Transkriptler
Transkriptler ve çeviriler yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır: uygulamanın oturum geçmişinde (web'de tarayıcınızın deposunda), siz onları, uygulamayı ya da hesabınızı silene kadar. Bunları sunucularımıza yüklemeyiz ya da saklamayız. Bir transkripti kopyaladığınızda, paylaştığınızda ya da kaydettiğinizde yalnızca sizin gönderdiğiniz yere gider.
Hesabınız
Apple, Google ya da e-posta adresi ve şifreyle giriş yaparsınız. Giriş işlemini Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud) yürütür. E-posta adresinizi, giriş yöntemini, bir hesap kimliğini ve Apple ile Google için bu hizmetlerin bize verdiği kimliği saklarız. Şifreler Firebase tarafından tuzlanmış özet (hash) olarak saklanır; biz şifrenizi hiç görmeyiz. Apple'ın “E-postamı Gizle” seçeneğini kullanırsanız yalnızca Apple'ın oluşturduğu yönlendirme adresini alırız.
E-posta adresinizi doğrulamak ya da şifrenizi sıfırlamak için e-posta sağlayıcımız Resend üzerinden size e-posta göndeririz. Doğrulama kodları 10 dakika sonra geçersiz olur.
Paket ve kullanım
Paketiniz (Ücretsiz, Plus, Pro ya da Business), varsa Günlük ya da Haftalık Pasonuz ve dinleme süreniz hesabınıza bağlıdır; bu yüzden her cihazda aynıdır. Her dinleme oturumu için başlama zamanını, paketin süre sınırını, platformu (iOS, Android ya da web) ve kaç saniyelik sesin işlendiğini saklarız. Bunları yalnızca paket sınırlarını uygulamak ve kötüye kullanımı önlemek için kullanırız. Bu kayıtlarda ses ya da metin bulunmaz.
Ücretsiz 30 dakika
Ücretsiz hesap, her gün değil, telefon başına bir kez 30 dakikalık dinleme içerir (sesli çeviri bu süreyi dört kat hızlı harcar). Bu süre hesap başına değil telefon başına bir kez verilsin diye uygulama, cihaz kimliğinin (Android'de Android ID, iPhone'da satıcıya özel kimlik, web'de tarayıcıda tutulan rastgele bir kimlik) tek yönlü özetini (SHA-256) gönderir. Cihazdan yalnızca bu özet çıkar. Sunucumuz onu bir kez daha özetler ve bu özeti, ücretsiz süreyi alan hesapla birlikte kalıcı olarak saklar. Tarayıcı kimliğinin silinebildiği web'de sunucu ayrıca isteğin geldiği ağ adresinin (IPv4 adresi ya da IPv6 adresinin ilk yarısı) özetini de saklar; bu özet yalnızca 30 gün boyunca kullanılır. Kimliğin ya da adresin kendisini saklamayız; bu özetleri yalnızca ücretsiz süre için kullanırız. Hesabınızı silerseniz hesabınızla bağlantısı kaldırılır, ancak özet kalır; böylece o telefona ücretsiz süre yeniden verilmez.
Uygulama bilgileri
Uygulama hesabınızı yüklerken ayrıca sürümünü ve derleme numarasını, çalıştığı güncellemeyi, arayüz dilini, telefonunuzun dil ve bölge ayarını, saat dilimini ve uygulama yüklendiğinde oluşturulan rastgele bir kimliği (donanım kimliği değil) gönderir. Her oturum için seçtiğiniz dil kodlarını da (örneğin İngilizce → Türkçe) saklarız; söylenenleri asla. Barındırma sağlayıcımız bir isteğin ülkesini bildirirse o ülke kodunu saklarız; ülkeyi dilinizden, e-postanızdan ya da adınızdan tahmin etmeyiz. Bunları size destek olmak ve hangi sürüm ve dillerin kullanıldığını görmek için kullanırız.
Bildirimler
Bildirimler, Hesap ekranında siz açana kadar kapalıdır. Açtığınızda uygulama sunucumuza bir bildirim belirteci (Apple'ın ya da Google'ın cihazınızdaki uygulamaya verdiği adres), arayüz diliniz ve saat diliminizle birlikte gönderilir; böylece ara sıra yenilik ve ipucu gönderebiliriz — günde en fazla bir kez, gece hiç. Bildirimler Expo'nun bildirim hizmeti ve Apple Push Notification service ya da Firebase Cloud Messaging üzerinden iletilir. Bildirimin iletilip iletilmediğini ve açıp açmadığınızı kaydederiz. Uygulamada bildirimleri kapatmak, çıkış yapmak ya da hesabınızı silmek belirteci hesabınızdan ayırır.
Hesap açmadan denemek
Daha önce hesap açılmamış bir telefonda Voixie Live'ı üye olmadan günde birkaç dakika deneyebilirsiniz. Uygulama bu sırada anonim bir Firebase hesabı kullanır: e-posta adresi ya da ad içermeyen, yalnızca yukarıda anlatılan kullanım kayıtlarını tutan bir hesap kimliği. Ardından hesap açarsanız aynı kimlik hesabınız olur; denemedeki oturumlar geçmişinizde kalır.
Deneme her cihazda ve her ağda günde bir kez kullanılabilsin diye uygulama, cihaz kimliğinin (Android'de Android ID, iPhone'da satıcıya özel kimlik, web'de tarayıcıda tutulan rastgele bir kimlik) tek yönlü özetini (SHA-256) gönderir; sunucumuz bunu, isteğin IP adresinin özetiyle birlikte, her ikisini de tarihle birleştirerek saklar. Kimliğin ya da IP adresinin kendisini saklamayız; bu özetleri yalnızca ücretsiz denemeyi sınırlamak için kullanırız ve üç gün içinde kendiliğinden silinirler.
Sunucumuzun işlediği bilgiler
Oturum başlatmak için uygulama, sunucumuzdan (Google Cloud / Firebase üzerinde) kısa ömürlü bir oturum anahtarı ister. İstek, sunucunun paketinizi kontrol edebilmesi için giriş belirtecinizi taşır. Kötüye kullanımı önlemek için sunucu ayrıca saatte kaç oturum başlatılabileceğini sınırlamak amacıyla isteğin IP adresine bakar; bu bilgi yalnızca bellekte tutulur (hesap açmadan deneme için yukarıdaki sınır geçerlidir). Barındırma sağlayıcımız güvenlik ve güvenilirlik için standart istek kayıtları (IP adresi ve zaman gibi) tutar.
Cihazınızda saklananlar
Ayarlarınız (diller, tema, yazı boyutu ve beklenen terimler) uygulamanın hatırlaması için cihazınızda saklanır. Uygulamayı ya da tarayıcınızın site verilerini silerek temizleyebilirsiniz.
Hesabınızı silmek
Hesabınızı istediğiniz zaman uygulamada ya da web'de silebilirsiniz: Hesap'ı açıp Hesabı sil'e dokunun. Bu işlem girişinizi, e-posta adresinizi, paket bilgilerinizi ve kullanım geçmişinizi kalıcı olarak siler. Ücretsiz süre için tutulan cihaz özeti ve bir mağaza satın alımının işlendiğine dair kayıt, sizinle hiçbir bağlantısı olmadan kalır; böylece ikisi de iki kez verilmez. Hesabınızın e-posta adresinden bize yazarak da isteyebilirsiniz. Hesabı silmek App Store ya da Google Play aboneliğini iptal etmez; aboneliği mağazadan iptal edin. Yapmadıklarımız
- Kişilerinizi toplamayız; hesap açmak için yalnızca e-posta adresi isteriz.
- Reklam, reklam takibi ve veri satışı yoktur.
- Konum, kamera ya da fotoğraf erişimi yoktur.
Başkalarının konuşmasını yazıya dökmek
Voixie Live'ı yasalara uygun kullanmak sizin sorumluluğunuzdadır. Bazı yerler ve kurumlar, konuşmaları yazıya dökülmeden önce katılımcıların bilgilendirilmesini ya da onay vermesini şart koşar.
Çocuklar
Voixie Live 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir.
